Big news: the jam has moved. We’ve been looking for a new home for a while and Bourbon St Grille is excited to have us and we’re excited to be there. Our next jam this Sunday will be 4-7 pm (as always) but at our new location:

What’s different? There is plenty of free parking, and the restaurant is open with a full menu. The location is also easily accessible just off the beltline. We won’t have a piano – we’ll use a keyboard. We’ll use our own beautifully functioning PA.
What’s the same? Everything else, same great bands, music, and fun. This week the band is Dan Wallach – sax, John Christensen – bass, Mark Davis – keyboard, and Rodrigo Villanueva – drums. The featured tune is “Lester Leaps In.” We’ve done this tune and other rhythm-change-based songs in the past. I searched the site for “Lester Leaps” and this link shows the results. The 1st four entries have lots of useful information about soloing over this form.
